CD Description Bronwyn Edwards Cryer is a songwriter, pianist, guitarist, singer and performer based in Seattle, Washington. An Australian native, Ms. Edwards Cryer has lived in Seattle since 1986. This is her first solo album, featuring twelve beautiful, but different, songs -- crossing over from pop, rock, R&B, ballad, showtune and jazz genres. In addition to Ms. Edwards Cryer's vocals, this CD features the vocal talents of Greta Matassa (jazz), Josephine Howell (R&B), and singer-songwriters Lara Lavi, Tara Ward and Tam Katzin, as well as Didi Law, who performs with Bronwyn Edwards Cryer in the Seattle band "Once." Also featured on this CD are some stunning piano performances from Ms. Edwards Cryer, along with her soulful lyrics, layered with rich vocal harmonies, and a palette of instruments including guitars, saxophone, harmonica, horns, keyboards and percussion. This CD doesn't easily fall into any particular category, but it will have special appeal for women in the 30s to 50s age group, with songs about love, life, fulfillment, dreams, friendship, children and even "empty nests." Produced by Maurice Jones Jr, with some beautiful graphics in the packaging, the CD's back cover features a whimsical photo of Ms. Edwards Cryer and her dog playing a piano duet on a vintage ivory-colored Baldwin grand piano.
